Friday Afternoon Professional Development Activity
The new Nspire calculators from Texas Instruments will soon be appearing in your classrooms (if they haven’t already) replacing the venerable TI-84 and the TI-89. The Nspire offers a new way of teaching and learning. Gone are the typical “Y =”, “WINDOW”, “GRAPH”, and similar keys. Instead you now work with documents, problems, pages.

Learn about the new TI-Nspire and what it can help you accomplish in your classroom. The session will be held at Delta and run from 12:30 until 3:30 on Friday, October 10.

Friday Evening Social Activity
Enjoy a buffet dinner and a cash bar aboard the Islander, a vessel privately chartered for our MichMATYC group.  Admire the sunset as you cruise from downtown Bay City into the Saginaw Bay.  This "three hour tour" will provide a relaxed social atmosphere for networking and fun with your colleagues. Boarding begins at 5:00 with departure at 5:30.
